Every fledgling web designer needs a personal site. Thus, evanmeagher.net is born.

As a student of zen-inspired CSS, I am dedicated to adhering to contemporary web standards while creating good-looking, minimalistic designs. By gaining experience and learning as much as I can, I strive to become a better designer and contribute well-built, semantic content and structure to my clients and the Web as a whole.

I see CSS as a tool through which anything is possible. Furthermore, I see it as an art form. Anyone who's serious about design has been to sites like the CSS Zen Garden or CSS Remix. I don't see sites like these as simply a repository of quality work; I see them as online art galleries, showcasing what is possible through CSS. My main goal is to be able to use the tools available (XHTML, CSS, etc.) to create functional, semantic, designs that please the eye to an extent worthy of showcasing.

This site will serve as a platform for my thoughts, work, and tutorials. Feel free to check it out.
