Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Your traffic is appreciated and in return, I will try to reciprocate with worthwhile, useful content.
Since I launched the domain in February, evanmeagher.net has laid dormant, unupdated. (Original site in its entirety here) Hopefully now WordPress will encourage me to come up with things to write about more frequently. As for the scope of the material to be covered here, I’m not entirely sure at this point. I’m hoping to provide insight and commentary, to the best of my ability, on all that is current in the world of design and tech.
Within the fields of design and tech I plan to write about things that interest me, such as Linux, open source, web design, and the state of the Internet. Look for articles on designing within Linux using Gimp and other open source apps in the future.
Come to think of it, I might also expand the scope of the site to music. In fact, yeah I think I’ll do that. Maybe some album reviews and stuff on the world of digital music.
I’d like to give credit to Lokesh Dhakar and Oriol Sanchez for creating the theme(s) that I based this one on. I didn’t intend to create an entirely new theme, but I ended up changing the CSS and PHP architecture (and even translating id’s, classes, and directories from Spanish) enough to where I thought it deserved its own classification. I’m not totally done tweaking and adding stuff to the overall design of the site, so stay tuned for more little buttons and stuff.
